Restoration of worn parts
Restoration of worn parts bases on part dimension increasing after DC maschining
by obtaining surface porosity in form of deep narrow grooves. Surface porosity
may be removed by different methods or can serve as pockets for holding
liquid
lubrication

1 - Variants dimension increasing
with removing surface porosity by:
1 - Flattenig of fin tops
2 - Electrospark alloying
3 - Gap filling by Polymeric Repair Composite
4 - Gap filling by wire |

2 - Variants of shaft repair:
1 - worn site,
2 - after DC machining,
3 - after DC machining and cut-off of sharp fin tops,
4 - after DC machining with fin top flattening,
5 - repare paste inside fins and above,
6 - repare paste only inside fins |
Main advantages
- Using of traditional turning machines
- No thermal action
- Possibility of renovation with surface hardening
- Possibility to put solid or liquid lubricants in grooves of friction
